NMB native FloKid releases visuals for his titled track, “Crooks” directed by the extremely talented Sam Brave. The NMB rapper preaches “Grab a hold of your conscience, Lucifer on the rise for the capture, Django when I break chains, back slapping all the masters”. He speaks about the lies rappers uphold for an image. He does this with exquisite metaphors and thought provoking wordplay. From the tongue of FloKid, he makes it seems so simple, all while rapping over a hard hitting kick with melodic piano keys.
The video itself is true to the song title. FloKid wears all black as well as anyone else seen. Throughout different scenes you see faces hiding behind skully mask and holding weapons. This all takes place in a dark abandoned warehouse that is enlightened by amazing computer effects. You would be a crook if you did not give the proper respect this video deserved.
